It’s hard to write a session recap on the SEO Site Review/Clinic, because site owners submit their sites to the panel (Rae Hoffman-Dolan, Michael Gray, Kenny Hyder, and Michael Streko) and the critique is done on-the-fly with most of the content specific to the site owner. However, there are some useful tips you can get that can be applied to other sites.
Amanda Orson (aka Phillian) and Ad Hustler (aka… Ad Hustler) presented at Affiliate Summit West 2011 on Local Lead Generation. This was one of the best-received sessions at Affiliate Summit, based on the non-scientific Twitter chatter I was monitoring.
While not quite a beginner at affiliate marketing, I had never heard James Martell speak before, so while at Affiliate Summit West 2011 in Las Vegas, I attended his session, Making Money With Affiliate Programs for Beginners.
Although it was a session targeted towards beginners, sometimes its great to hear what you already know to remind yourself that you know it 🙂
James did a great job with his presentation, and you could tell he’s a well-polished speaker. He outlined what was going to be covered, then told the audience about himself very quickly, which I appreciated.
The first session I attended at Affiliate Summit West 2011 was Randy Cassingham‘s Creating a Successful Mastermind Group.
I’ve been in a Mastermind Group in the past, and have organized one as well, which I didn’t feel worked as I had hoped it would. So I was looking forward to learning how to create a group that really worked for all involved.
I left Buffalo on Sunday, and made my way to San Francisco via Boston (huh? Yeah, not quite direct) and arrived in the early afternoon. Upon landing I found Kristin Kinsey looking for a ride, so we shared the Mercedes I had hired to the resort. The car looked tiny when it pulled up, but had lots of room on the inside.
