Affiliate Karaoke has always been a popular event for a group of Affiliate Summit attendees, but hasn’t happened as an official event the past few shows. While a few of us arranged our own get-together, it’s just not the same when a gambling-addicted Elvis impersonator named Eddie controls the stage because he makes the casino lots of money at the slot machines. So Nate, Tricia and I decided to do something about it.
The event will be held at Pulse Karaoke (walking distance of the hotel) on the Monday night of Affiliate Summit from 9pm-1am. We will have a dedicated area for our group including an open bar and trays of appetizers for the 4 hours. We have taken care of the arrangements with the facility as well as insurance for the event. The event will be invite-only to the extent that wristbands will only be available through the sponsors.
Each sponsor will receive:
- 6 wristbands to use as they choose (you can use them, give them away, or even sell them)
- Business name on the digital flyer that will be used for the event
- Ability to distribute any materials at the event that you would like including swag or business cards
Sponsorships cost $695 each and we would need a firm commitment by May 23 so that we can let the venue know. Money would be due to us by June 15 and is non-refundable. Sponsorships can be individuals or companies.
[bs_well size=”md”]Note: A few people have told me they can’t sponsor the event, but look forward to it. To be clear: you’ll be outside the venue if you don’t have a wristband! This is NOT an open event! So if you really want to go, cough up the money and sponsor it, or get together with some friends & split the bill.[/bs_well]“Keep This Party Going”
At ASW12, the DJ running karaoke was horrible, but he had this line, “We’re gonna keep this party going,” which quickly turned into a drinking game. Become a sponsor, and let’s keep this party going!
